Job description
Seeking a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) for a 1:1 assignment supporting a pediatric student. This contract position provides an exciting opportunity to make a direct and meaningful impact by delivering individualized care. The role focuses on helping the student achieve optimal wellness and supporting daily activities throughout their school routine.
Key Qualifications:
Active CNA certification required
Experience in pediatric care preferred, especially 1:1 care settings
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to demonstrate patience, empathy, and a gentle demeanor
Current CPR/BLS certification
Reliable, with strong time management skills
Ability to collaborate with teachers, school nurses, and parents
Position Responsibilities: Provide 1:1 care and assistance to a pediatric student during school hours
Support with activities of daily living, such as mobility, toileting, hygiene, and feeding as needed
Monitor the student's health and communicate changes in status promptly
Collaborate with educational and healthcare staff for individualized care planning
Maintain accurate documentation as required
Uphold privacy and confidentiality standards in all aspects of student interaction
