Job description
Take on a rewarding contract opportunity supporting elementary-aged students as a Speech-Language Pathologist providing dedicated 1:1 care. In this school-based setting near Lakeville, MN, your expertise will empower young learners to communicate more effectively and achieve their educational goals.
Qualifications:
Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology
Valid Florida State License
Experience working in school or pediatric settings preferred
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to adapt therapy plans to individual student needs
Exceptional organizational skills for maintaining accurate records
Responsibilities: Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations for assigned students
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
Collaborate closely with classroom teachers, special educators, and support staff to maximize student progress
Deliver targeted 1:1 speech-language therapy sessions
Maintain thorough and timely session notes and required documentation
Participate in multi-disciplinary meetings and contribute to IEP development as appropriate
Engage with families regarding progress and strategies for continued growth
