Job description
Make a meaningful impact in the lives of students as a dedicated Occupational Therapist supporting school-aged children in the Littleton, CO area. This contract opportunity offers the chance to work closely with students in a dynamic educational environment and provide essential 1:1 therapy to help them reach their full potential.
Desired Qualifications:
Hold current certification and licensure as an Occupational Therapist
Previous school-based experience or passion for working with children and adolescents
Strong communication and collaboration skills to partner with educators, families, and students
Ability to develop and implement individualized intervention plans
Adaptability and creativity in meeting diverse student needs
Commitment to fostering a supportive and inclusive learning atmosphere
Key Responsibilities: Deliver 1:1 occupational therapy services to students as outlined in their IEPs
Assess motor, sensory, and functional skills to develop treatment strategies
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to create holistic support plans
Document services, progress, and recommendations accurately
Provide consultation, resources, and guidance to staff and caregivers
Participate in team meetings and contribute to IEP goal planning
Support students in developing independence and confidence in school settings
