Home-Based Direct Support Professional (DSP)Serving Clients in & throughout Cambria County, PA $1,000 Signing Bonus | $17–$25.00/HRAbound Health is hiring compassionate, reliable Home-Based Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to support individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD) in Johnstown and throughout Cambria County. Opportunities are available in Johnstown, Ebensburg, Nanty Glo, Portage, Northern Cambria, and surrounding communities.Full-Time and Part-Time Hours AvailableAbout the RoleAs a DSP, you will provide one-on-one support in clients' homes and communities. Your work helps individuals live safely, independently, and with dignity. This role is ideal for someone who is patient, dependable, and passionate about helping others.Key Responsibilities• Support behavioral, social, and vocational skill development• Assist with recreational and community activities• Follow treatment plans and document progress• Provide companionship and respite care• Submit documentation and payroll on time• Participate in ongoing training• Assist with personal care needs as required• Work independently in home and community settingsWhat We're Looking For• Genuine interest in supporting individuals with I/DD• Ability to work independently and responsibly• Valid driver's license and active car insurance• Comfortable supporting individuals with varying personal-care and behavioral-support needs• At least 18 years old• High school diploma or equivalent• Ability to pass background checks• Physical ability to assist with lifting or transfers if neededCompensation$17.00–$25.00 per hour$1,000 signing bonus for qualified candidatesSchedule• Flexible scheduling• Morning, afternoon, and evening shifts availableExperience• 1 year of caregiving experience preferred• Not required — paid training providedBenefits• Weekly pay• Flexible scheduling• Paid onboarding• Competitive wages• Medical, dental, life insurance, and 401(k) available based on hours workedSigning Bonus Details$333 after 90 days (minimum 20 hours/week)$333 after 6 months (minimum 20 hours/week)$334 after 1 year (minimum 20 hours/week)Bonus not available for Residential Services or Relative as Provider (RAP) hires.
