Field Service Technician ILooking for hands-on outdoor work with room to grow? We're hiring a Field Service Technician I to help maintain stormwater systems and manage vegetation at customer sites across the region. This is a great entry-level field role for someone who enjoys physical work, learning new skills, and being part of a team.What You'll DoPerform maintenance and inspections on stormwater facilitiesAssist with vegetation management and herbicide applicationsOperate trucks, trailers, mowers, UTVs, spray equipment, and hand toolsUse mobile apps to complete safety briefings and daily reportsCommunicate with customers and team members on job progressFollow safety, environmental, and company procedures at all timesTravel to job sites (50–75%, including some overnight travel)What We're Looking ForHigh school diploma or equivalentWillingness to work outdoors in all weather and terrainTeam-oriented with a strong focus on safetyComfortable using basic technology (mobile apps, reporting tools)Willing and able to travel regularlyNice to Have (Not Required): Valid driver's license and clean driving recordDOT medical card (or ability to obtain one)Herbicide applicator licenseAbility to obtain a TWIC cardPhysical RequirementsLift 50+ lbs and work on your feet 8–11 hours per dayWork around water, uneven terrain, and confined spacesComfortable working around wildlife and wearing PPEWhy Join UsHands-on outdoor work with varietyTraining provided with opportunities for licensing and advancementSupportive team that values safety and doing the job rightOpterra Solutions, Inc. is an equal opportunity employer.
