Assistant Department Manager OpportunitiesThank you for your interest in Schnucks!We have multiple assistant department manager opportunities available:Assistant Deli ManagerAssistant Seafood ManagerCenter Store LeadAssistant Bakery ManagerAssistant Produce ManagerAssistant Customer Service ManagerAssistant Floral ManagerAll positions at Schnucks are customer focused and we are looking for teammates that will provide friendly and courteous service to our customers.Duties:Provide friendly and courteous service to customersRegular, reliable attendance is an essential function of the job.Ensure customer satisfaction.Act with integrity and maintain confidentiality.Time Management and Prioritization.Problem Solving and Decision Making.Maintain cleanliness of work area, equipment, and cases, following company safety and sanitation proceduresEnsure department standards are met.Stock, rotate and straighten productRead and understand shelf tags and signageFollow all opening and closing procedures within the departmentAbility to coach, develop, and inspire others to be the best they can be-relationship building.Other duties may be assigned at the discretion of store managementTraining:Training will be provided at store level.Physical Demands:BendingStoopingMust be able to lift up to 25-100 pounds (depending on the job)Working on feet for 8 hour shiftsWorking in cold and warm environmentsAdditional Requirements – Internal Candidates:Store/Facility Teammates: minimum of six months employment with Schnucks preferred.Store Support Center Teammates: minimum of one year employment with Schnucks preferred.Must be in good standing (not on a performance improvement plan or active discipline).If invited for an interview, must have manager approval based on performance.Schnucks is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
