A better future?Job Description Quality Inspector – 1st & 2nd Shift Vance, Alabama – Tuscaloosa PlantAs a member of the quality team, the quality team member will be responsible for ensuring that seats are given a final inspection prior to shipment to the customer. The role includes, but is not limited to:Assist with the execution of EOL/FAM testers, front and rear seat inspections, and blind auditDemonstrate knowledge of customer specifications and quality requirementsAll non-conformances are either immediately repaired and re-inspected, or identified and segregated from conforming productAchieve operator certification according to the plant certification processAdhere to the standard work instructions (SWI's), forms, work instructions, and proceduresParticipate in team meetings and understand performance goals and objectivesAssure safety and quality standards are followed at all timesContribute to continuous improvement and 5S initiativesPerforming all other duties assignedAdvantages of working for Lear at the Tuscaloosa Plant: Self-Directed Work teams, opportunities for leadership advancement, strong benefits/perksYour Qualifications: Effective oral and written communication skills Knowledge of use of measurement devices Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume manufacturing environmentBonus If You Have: Experience in the automotive industryLear Corporation is an Equal Opportunity Employer, committed to a diverse workplace.
