We are hiring experienced traveling 1st Class Steel Pipe Welders for a long-term shipyard project in Port St. Joe, FL. This role is built for welders who travel for work and want steady hours, daily per diem, and a fast hiring process.
Qualified candidates can be tested, cleared, and ready to start within 1–2 days.
Weld Test (Onsite):
6G position on carbon steel
Stick root – 6010
Flux core fill and cap
Job Highlights:
Up to 56 hours per week
$150 per diem per day worked
Long-term shipyard project
Consistent work with overtime
Requirements:
Proven experience as a 1st Class Steel Pipe Welder
Ability to pass the onsite 6G weld test
Minimum 4 years of shipyard experience
Strong safety awareness and reliable attendance
