Job description
1st- Composite TechPro Resources is looking for dependable, hard-working individuals to join our production team as Composite Technicians. This company is a growing local manufacturer producing carbon fiber components for medical, industrial, and other applications. No previous composite or industrial experience is required—we will train the right candidates! 1st Shift: 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM | Overtime is currently limited but may vary based on production needs. Temp-to-hire after 520 hoursEssential DutiesLay carbon fiber material into molds according to work instructions.Prepare materials and molds for production.Follow established production processes and procedures.Vacuum bag parts before they are placed in the oven.Inspect parts for quality throughout the lay-up process.Perform repetitive hands-on production tasks.Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.Work with team members to meet daily production goals.Follow all safety and quality requirements.QualificationsHigh school diploma or GED required.No previous composite or manufacturing experience required.Reliable and dependable with good attendance.Strong attention to detail.Comfortable working with your hands.Able to follow written and verbal instructions.Willing to learn and accept feedback.Able to work well as part of a small team.Manufacturing experience is a plus, but not required.Physical RequirementsAbility to stand for most of the shift.Ability to perform repetitive work with your hands.Ability to lift 40–75 lbs., with heavier lifting required at times.Ability to perform physical production tasks safely and efficiently.Required PPE & DressSteel-toe bootsJeansT-shirtHearing protectionEye protectionPre-Employment Requirements9-panel drug screenComprehensive background checkIndiana Department of Correction (IDOC) searchSex Offender Registry search
