First Grade Teacher
St. Paul Catholic School, a co-educational PreK-8 parish school in the Diocese of Trenton serving more than 285 students, is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic First Grade Teacher for a full-time position. We are looking for a passionate educator who is committed to fostering academic excellence while nurturing the spiritual, social, and emotional growth of each child. The ideal candidate is collaborative, student-centered, and eager to work as part of a faith-filled community of educators.
Responsibilities:
Create a positive, engaging, and nurturing classroom environment
Plan and deliver high-quality instruction aligned with curriculum standards
Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse learning needs of students
Assess student progress and communicate effectively with families
Collaborate with colleagues, administration, and support staff to promote student success
Support and uphold the mission and values of Catholic education
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree required
New Jersey Teaching Certification (or eligibility for certification) required
Strong classroom management and instructional skills
Proficiency with educational technology and classroom technology integration
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Position Details:
Job Type: Full-Time
Schedule: Monday–Friday 8-hour workday
