They support their families and build long term careers they are proud of.Auburn Gear is proud to offer to our employees:Competitive hourly wage!Paid holidays and vacation days!Excellent medical benefit package available on the 1st day of the month following your date of hire!401k plan with a generous company match!Job Duties & Responsibilities:Set up and operate power wheel assembly centersUse and maintain electric hand toolsRead and interpret blueprints and operation sheetsRead and understand gauges and other measuring devicesAccurately perform mathematical computations such as addition, subtraction, multiplication and division.Education and/or Experience:1-3 years of experience in heavy industrial assembly, preferredExperience reading and interpreting blueprints, preferredExperience using gauges such as micrometers and calipers, preferredExperience using hydraulic & pneumatic presses, torque guns, and hoists, preferredExperience with bar code scanning regarding product movement, preferredHigh school diploma or equivalentComputer Skills:To perform this job successfully the following computer proficiencies are desired: Internet Explorer; Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word.Physical Demands:The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
