Job description
AssemblerJoin our team as a Transmission and Engine Refurbishment Technician in a state-of-the-art, climate-controlled facility. Specializing in refurbishing transmissions, engines, and other car parts, this role offers a dynamic environment with opportunities for career advancement.Shift: 1st shift M-F + SaturdaysPay: $14/hrResponsibilitiesClean, disassemble, and inspect transmissions and other car parts.Re-assemble parts using hand tools and power tools.Test and perform final inspections on transmissions.Utilize measuring tools, requiring basic math skills.Maintain a clean work area.Essential SkillsAbove average job tenure.Reliable transportation.Ability to work 10-hour shifts, five times a week, plus Saturdays.Additional Skills & QualificationsIndustrial experience in manufacturing or production is a plus.Proficiency with hand tools and power tools.Comfortable with getting dirty, greasy, or oily, and performing general labor, warehouse, and cleaning tasks.Ability to stand for 10 hours a day (excluding breaks and lunch).Capability to lift up to 35 lbs regularly and up to 50 lbs occasionally.Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Oklahoma City, OK.Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $14.00 - $14.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
