1st Shift Brake Press OperatorBrake Press OperatorMidway Staffing is seeking an experienced Brake Press Operator for a first-shift opportunity with a growing manufacturing team. This position is responsible for setting up, programming, and operating press brakes to bend and form sheet metal components while maintaining quality and safety standards.Location: Phoenix, AZ Schedule: Mon - Fri | 5 AM - 1:30 PM | Occasional Saturdays Pay rate: $21.00 – $25.00/hourMidway Staffing is seeking an experienced Brake Press Operator for a first-shift opportunity with a growing manufacturing team. This position is responsible for setting up, programming, and operating press brakes to bend and form sheet metal components while maintaining quality and safety standards.DutiesSet up, program, and operate Salvagnini press brake systems, including the B3 press brakeUtilize CNC controls, barcode scanners, and automated programs to process partsAdjust machine settings, including tonnage, bend angles, and back-gauge positions, based on material specificationsRead and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and fabrication schematicsPerform quality inspections using calipers, micrometers, machinist squares, protractors, and other precision measuring toolsMove, load, rotate, flip, and stack sheet metal and finished parts as neededFollow all safety procedures and perform routine machine maintenanceMeet daily production goals established by the supervisor or team leadAssist with other duties as assignedRequirements2–3 years of verifiable brake press experience requiredPrevious sheet metal handling experience is requiredExperience operating heavy industrial machinery preferredAbility to safely operate equipment independentlyComfortable standing for an 8-hour shift while continuously handling steel sheetsStrong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environmentContact Information To apply, please contact Midway Staffing – Avondale Office at or visit our office at 506 E Western Ave #102, Avondale, AZ 85323.
