Housekeeping TechnicianWage: $17.00 per hourShift: 1stHours: 6:00am-2:30pm (Mon-Fri)QPS Employment Group has a great Housekeeping Technician position available at a company in Wright City, MO. This is a 1st shift position with the opportunity for hire.Housekeeping Technician Responsibilities Include But Are Not Limited To:Clean and sanitize breakrooms, including tables, countertops, sinks, microwaves, refrigerators, and trash receptacles.Clean and disinfect restrooms by replenishing supplies, sanitizing fixtures, mopping floors, and removing waste.Operate floor scrubber and other floor care equipment to clean and maintain facility flooring.Sweep, mop, vacuum, and dust assigned areas to maintain cleanliness standards.Empty trash and recycling containers throughout the facility and transport waste to designated disposal areas.Monitor and restock janitorial and restroom supplies as needed.Clean windows, mirrors, doors, and other high-touch surfaces.Identify and report maintenance concerns, safety hazards, or damaged equipment to supervision.Follow all company safety procedures and chemical handling guidelines.Support scheduled deep cleaning projects in production areas, offices, hallways, and common spaces.Maintain janitorial equipment in clean and proper working conditions.Housekeeping Technician Requirements:- Previous janitorial, custodial, or industrial cleaning experience preferred.- Experience operating floor scrubbers or similar cleaning equipment preferred.- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.- Strong attention to detail and time management skills.- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.- Basic understanding of workplace safety and cleaning chemical usage.- Reliable attendance and punctuality required.- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the shift.- Frequently bend, stoop, twist, kneel, and reach while performing cleaning duties.- Ability to lift and carry up to 35 pounds frequently and up to 50 pounds occasionally.- Ability to push and pull cleaning carts, trash bins, and floor scrubber equipment throughout the facility.- Ability to safely operate cleaning equipment and work with approved cleaning chemicals daily.- Ability to work in environments with varying temperatures and cleaning odors.
