Job description
1st Shift Machine Operator - HDPEOperates mold machine process in a method to produce quality parts at the productivity rate that is in accordance to customer specifications using the Hubbell Power Systems Quality Operating Principles and the most current Quality System. A Day In The Life Set machine controls, regulating molding temperature, volume of plastic, molding pressure and time, according to knowledge of plastics and molding procedures. Follow Company safety and break policies, work in a safe manner, follow directions, and wear company issued Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). Immediately report any unsafe activity or accident to area Supervisor. Keep area clean, follow good housekeeping practices. Work in an efficient manner maintaining part shift through/put quantity requirements. Perform other duties as assigned.What will help you thrive in this role? Ability to follow instructions. Ability to work in a group environment, and ask for help when needed. Ability to work independently and to carry out assignments to completion within parameters of instructions given, prescribed routines, and standard accepted practices. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
