Won't you join us?Our High Point, North Carolina facility is a non ? union manufacturing plant with approximately 55 employees. The site specializes in producing polyurethane foam and other foam products. As a key location within FXI ' s manufacturing network, the High Point plant is known for its strong focus on quality, safety, and operational excellence. Team members work in a collaborative, supportive environment where continuous improvement and innovation play a central role.The CNC Operator (Foam Industry) is responsible for operating computer-controlled cutting machines to shape foam materials into precise dimensions and custom designs. This role is commonly found in industries such as furniture manufacturing, automotive seating, bedding, packaging, and insulation production. The CNC Operator ensures foam products meet exact specifications, quality standards, and production deadlines.Key ResponsibilitiesSet up and operate CNC foam cutting machines (horizontal/vertical saws)Load foam blocks or sheets onto machine beds and secure materials properlyRead and interpret blueprints, CAD drawings, and production work ordersMonitor machine performance and adjust cutting speeds, blade settings, and depth as neededInspect finished foam parts for accuracy, smooth edges, and dimensional tolerancesMeasure products using tape measures, calipers, and templatesPerform routine maintenance such as blade changes and equipment cleaningMaintain production logs and document material usageFollow safety protocols, especially regarding dust control and moving machinerySkills / QualificationsHigh school diploma or GED (technical training preferred)Basic knowledge of CNC machinery and manufacturing processesAbility to read blueprints and follow cutting layoutsFamiliarity with CAD file input and basic machine programming (preferred)Strong attention to detail and quality controlMechanical aptitude and troubleshooting abilityAbility to lift foam materials and stand for extendedTotal RewardsMedical, dental, and vision insuranceBasic and optional life insuranceShort? and long?term disability coverage401(k) plan with company matchTuition assistanceFlexible spending accountsOur Commitment to a Diverse WorkforceFXI is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
