Job description
Pac-mac And Ishida Scale OperatorResponsible for all Pac-mac and Ishida scale setup and operation as required by production.Must be able to read product specifications and understand packaging parametersMust be able to verify bag seal integrity, zipper functionality, gusset, and bag codingMust be able to make alterations to equipment to correct any packaging errors.Must be able to complete bag weight check and explain net weight program.Must be able to calibrate and zero scales, adjust target drop weight, and set upper control limits to prevent underweight packages and minimize over-pack.Inspect seal barsMust be able to adjust and correct film tracking and sealing issues.Must ensure equipment is running properly and make any basic adjustments and repairs necessary to minimize downtime.Must be able to complete paperwork required for production, Quality Control, and/or supervisor.Must perform checks as required.Other assigned duties as directedAssure line is cleaned for change oversHelp maintain and improve quality and food safety, to ensure compliance with company quality standards and USDA regulatory requirements.
