1st Shift Mechanical AssemblyMechanical Assembler- GarlandAre you a detail-oriented professional with a knack for assembling and building? We have an exciting opportunity for a Mechanical Assembler at our manufacturing facility in Garland, TX! If you're ready to take your skills to the next level and work with a dynamic team, we want to hear from you!As a Mechanical Assembler, you will play a crucial role in assembling products such as switchboards and ensuring they meet our high-quality standards. You will use your skills to read blueprints, schematics, and other documentation to build products accurately and efficiently.Location: Garland, TXSchedule: Monday-Friday 6AM-3:30/5PM- OT as requestedPay rate: $19Responsibilities:Assembles machinery, fabricated metal products, electrical equipment, appliances, and more according to instructions.Reads blueprints, schematics, or similar documentation, then builds to those specifications.Uses various machines and hand tools to accomplish assigned tasks.Maintain logs, records, and reports concerning production, machine maintenance, and product inconsistencies.Perform quality checks to ensure products meet specifications.Troubleshoot and resolve assembly issues or defects.Team Player: Keep jobs on track, report issues, and support your peers, especially during high-demand periods.Adaptable: Embrace new tasks and challenges as they arise, showcasing your flexibility and dedication.Requirements:1+ year of Assembly experienceDetail Oriented and consistentAbility to read and understand blueprints and schematicsIndependent and Collaborative: Capable of working alone and thriving in a team environment.Safety-Conscious: Always aware of and engaged in health and safety practices.Ability to read, write, and speak English.
