1st Shift Receiving CoordinatorReceiving CoordinatorSummary: Conducts daily activities related to receiving materials into the warehouse, and ensuring safe and accurate storage for inventory retrieval.Location: Mesquite, TX (75149)Schedule: 1st Shift Monday-Friday 7 AM-3:30 PMPay rate: $15Duties/Responsibilities:Receives all incoming deliveries into the warehouse and monitors the unloading processDirects material handlers in inventory placementConfirms that packing lists or other related documents match the receipts of goods and materials; verifies counts, records discrepancies and details any damaged incoming freight with corresponding report and picturesSubmits completed paperwork to the Receiving Clerk for entry into the ERP systemEvaluates complaints related to shipments and takes appropriate actionCompletes management reports, as neededAssists in other work areas, as needed, during absences/shortages of staffRequired Skills/Abilities:Strong organizational skills and attention to detailGood verbal and written communication skills, with the capacity to read and interpret documentsAbility to perform duties in a high-paced and, at times, stressful environmentComfortable working in a team environmentProficient with Microsoft Office SuiteAble to handle working on and completing projects within tight deadlines while maintaining professionalismResume and Interview RequiredEducation and Experience:1-2 years experience in a similar roleHigh School diploma or GED requiredExperience with ERP systems, preferably SageBi-lingual Spanish a plusPhysical Requirements and Working Conditions: The majority of work occurs in a warehouse environment, with prolonged periods of walking and standing in the warehouse, interacting with receiving personnel, unloaders/loaders, and drivers. Exposure to heat, cold, dampness, humidity, slippery and uneven surfaces. Follow and adhere to all company safety policies and regulations.
