1st Shift Shipping / Receiving PackerLocation: Buchanan, MIPosition Type: Full-Time, Evaluation HirePay/Salary: $15.00 per hourSchedule: 1st Shift, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM - Occasional OT is required beginning at 6am M-F with additional time as needed at 7am on SaturdaysResponsible for packing parts into kits and placing them in boxes. Create labels, tape boxes and prepare the parts for shipping.Responsibilities/Job Duties:Stack and pile finished goods into containersPrepare goods for shipmentPack them following a specific set of instructionsCheck to ensure containers are damage-freeVerify if items pulled out of the package are correctMaintain a database of packagesFill out forms and papers to record measurement, weight, and product countKeep track of inventoryRemove completed or defective products or materials, placing them on moving equipment such as conveyors or in specified areas such as loading docksSeal and label each containerMove completed packages for loadingLoad or stuff different products or merchandiseMark and label containersTag containers with marking toolsQualifications:DependableAbility to move at a fast paceComputer LiterateAbility to work with others#sj1642
