Tool & Die MakerOur client, a leading manufacturing organization specializing in precision metal components, is seeking a Tool & Die Maker to join their team. As a Tool & Die Maker, you will be part of the Manufacturing Department supporting Engineering, Production, Quality, and Maintenance teams. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a collaborative mindset, which will align successfully in the organization.Location: Endicott, NYPay Range: $35/hr-$45/hr DOEShift: 1st shift 7am-3:30pmWhat's the Job?Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain progressive stamping dies to minimize downtime and maximize tool life.Perform die sharpening, component replacement, alignment, and reassembly activities.Analyze tooling wear patterns and implement corrective actions to improve performance and longevity.Conduct preventive and predictive maintenance on tooling systems.Set up and validate dies in stamping presses during tool trials and production launches.What's Needed?High school diploma or equivalent required.Journeyman Tool & Die Maker certification, apprenticeship completion, or equivalent experience preferred.Minimum 5 years of experience building and maintaining progressive stamping dies.Strong understanding of progressive die design and operation.Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and GD&T.What's in it for me?Opportunity to work in a dynamic manufacturing environment with a focus on continuous improvement.Engage with a team committed to quality and safety standards.Develop your skills with advanced tooling and manufacturing technologies.Be part of a company that values innovation and employee growth.Competitive salary aligned with your expertise and experience.Upon completion of waiting period associates are eligible for:Medical and Prescription Drug PlansDental PlanSupplemental Life InsuranceShort Term Disability Insurance401(k)If this is a role that interests you and you'd like to learn more, click apply now and a recruiter will be in touch with you to discuss this great opportunity.
