MIG Welder PositionUrgently hiring MIG welders to work in a clean and efficient production environment. Join our growing team!$2,000 sign-on bonus for all new production hiresHours: 1st Shift: 6:30am - 3:00pm Monday through FridayPay: $ /hr to start based on skillsetThe hand welder will require a person to set up, operate, and/or tend hand-welding machines to produce weldments. This person must pay high attention to detail and work under limited supervision. They must efficiently perform hand welding. This job involves collaborating with other team members to help meet department goals and objectives.Position Responsibilities:Read and conform to schematics, drawings and other work instructionsSet up jobs by selecting appropriate fixtures, weld patterns, components, programs, tooling, etc.Operate welding equipment and tune to optimize the welding process for quality and efficiencyMinimum Qualifications:Minimum high school diploma, GED or equivalent school with relevant work experienceMinimum 1-3 years of welding training/experienceMaintain high safety standards and be able to work in a fast-paced environmentAbility to lift at least 40 lbs. regularly and bend, squat, walk or stand for extended periods of timeAbility to pass a welding testPreferred Qualifications:3+ years of welding experienceScore of 4+ on the Weld test and >85% on the General testAt Ventrac we are always working to make sure our employees know just how valued they are.
