Must-Have: Inpatient Cardiology experience, Non-invasive Cardiology, Echocardiography, Transesophageal Echo, Nuclear Cardiology, Invasive cardiology - diagnostic only
Description:
This position involves managing patient encounters, with up to 15 patients per shift.
The candidate should possess skills in both inpatient cardiology and non-invasive procedures.
Echocardiography and TEE experience are necessary, along with skills in nuclear cardiology.
Invasive cardiology skills should focus on diagnostic procedures.
Preferred skills include PA catheter placement as well as placement of IABPs.
Candidates should also be comfortable with cardiac catheterization and heart biopsy procedures.
While interventional cardiology experience is not required, preferred skills include angioplasty, intracoronary stent placement, atherectomy, and electrophysiology procedures.
Permanent pacemaker placement and implantable cardioverter defibrillator skills are also beneficial.
