The facility is stroke certified, supports both assigned and unassigned patient care, and utilizes Athena and Cerner EMR systems with in-office support staff available.

Physician - Otolaryngology
Job Details:
Locum Tenens assignment available 8/5 - 8/10; provider must work the full stretch of open dates - partial dates will not be considered
Provider must have 50 case logs within the past 24 months
Clinic/hospital schedule: Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Call coverage required Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 7:00 AM - 7:00 AM
Call response time required: 15-20 minutes
Average patients seen while on call: 0-3
Serves patients 18 years and older in both inpatient and outpatient settings
Rounding required for both assigned and unassigned patients
Admissions required
Charting via Athena/Cerner EMR systems
Board certification required; fellowship required
Active California state license required; IMLC/compact license not accepted
Credentialing timeframe: 120-180 days; temporary privileges granted
BLS certification required
Specialty skills include general otolaryngology (surgical and non-surgical), endoscopic procedures (septal, sinus, bronchoscopy, flexible, rigid, laryngoscopy), tracheotomy, thyroidectomy, extended parotidectomy, radical neck surgery, facial reconstruction, facial surgery (facial implants, blepharoplasty, rhinoplasty), and complex/general head and neck procedures
Travel and lodging provided with corporate rate available
Compensation:
Competitive hourly rates with weekly pay and malpractice included.
