Mount Sinai South Nassau provides a salary range in good faith determination of potential compensation to comply with the New York State law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements. Position Summary
The Director of Pharmacy Services will advance rational, patient-oriented drug therapy. He/she will promote Pharmacists and Therapists as integral members of the health-care team in order to allow full utilization of their clinical and drug use control functions that would be beneficial in each health care setting. He/she will serve as a primary advocate for advancing professional practice, increasing cost-effectiveness of pharmaceutical services and improving the quality of patient care.
Qualifications
Responsibilities:
Education Required
Must complete in-house orientation program
Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy
Experience And Skills
Speaks, reads and writes English
Five (5) year's Hospital Pharmacy experience
Five (5) year's Hospital Pharmacy supervisory experience
License/Certifications
New York State Pharmacy License
New York State Pharmacy Registration Certificate
Other information:
Working Conditions
Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) worn
Able to handle multiple priorities under stress
Will require prolonged periods in front of computer terminal
