2026/2027 Head Girls' Golf Coach, Durango High School

Job Description
Durango School District is accepting applications for a Head Girls' Golf Coach for the 2026/2027 season. The regular season begins February 2027.
This position is responsible for all aspects of the Girls' Golf Program at Durango High School, to include but not limited to the following:
-supervision, mentoring, and assisting in the evaluation of assistant coaches
-administration of budget
-team supervision and discipline
-care and inventory of uniforms and equipment
-care of facilities
-effective communication with school administration, players and parents
-involvement with middle school and community based programs
-fundraising
-practice and competition planning
Minimum Qualifications
Valid CHSAA Certification, or Colorado Teaching Certificate/License
Fundamental knowledge ofgolf
Experience working with related school aged athletes/students
Ability to work as an integral part of the coaching staff
Current medical injury treatment course work
