nResponsibilities:

nnnAssist with the preparation and presentation of capital requests for game-changing products, productivity-enhancing machinery, and future factory and distribution footprint to ensure the appropriate strategic allocation of company funds.

n

nnDevelop financial models to forecast future shipments while analyzing an appropriate cost and pricing structure.

n

nnRecommend and develop programs that guide the organization to improve its competitive position and profitability.

n

nnWork with business unit leadership to develop, submit, and countermeasure departmental budgets.

n

nnPartner with finance team to assist in the month-end closing process which includes journal entries, account reconciliations, and analysis of accounts.

n

nnMaintain, support, and actively participate in internal control requirements as well as ensuring compliance with policies and GAAP.

n

nnAssist with the preparation of management financial statements and corporate reporting.

n

nnManage and prioritize large workloads in a fast-paced and ambiguous environment.

nQualifications

nnnEducation: Pursuing bachelor’s degree in finance or Accounting

n

nnGPA: 3.0 or higher required

n

nnSoftware Knowledge: Microsoft Office Applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)

n

n nAI Readiness: Textron expects employees to use AI-enabled tools responsibly and effectively. Candidates should be comfortable learning and applying these tools, evaluating AI-generated output with sound judgment, and using AI in line with company policy and ethical standards. Prior experience with specific tools is not required — we value curiosity, adaptability, and good judgment.
