Job description
Our 2027 Summer Internship Program is a paid 10-week learning experience where you will be immersed in the daily environment of a thriving global financial services company. You will gain invaluable industry and organizational knowledge through daily business interactions and job assignments, in addition to engaging in projects that directly affect our business, interact with senior leaders in conversational settings, and network with employees and interns across our offices. Interns may have the opportunity to be considered for Guardian's Finance Leadership Development Program upon successful completion of the internship. We are seeking candidates who are curious, adaptable, and excited to gain exposure to different areas of the Finance and Risk organization.

Required Qualifications
An interest in exploring multiple areas of Finance and Risk and a willingness to learn about different functions and career paths across the organization
Eagerness to learn and grow in a dynamic professional environment
Proactive, self-motivated mindset with the initiative to take ownership of projects and deliver results
Strong communication and interpersonal skills and enjoy collaborating with others to achieve shared goals
Preferred Qualifications
Demonstrated ability to learn and apply new skills and information
You will
Develop an understanding of capital frameworks and their impact on Guardian’s asset allocation and business strategies
Support data and technology initiatives around building capital-related databases and interactive capital dashboards that enhance transparency, analysis, and decision support for senior leadership
Have the opportunity to work and learn from supportive leaders, mentors, and team members across the organization who will help coach you as you develop your professional career
Learn about Guardian’s purpose, values, how we work, and our suite of product and service offerings
Build a network of colleagues and have a sense of community with other interns and other parts of the business

Eligibility
Applicants must be eligible to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship, now or in the future, for employment-based work authorization. F-1 visa holders with Optional Practical Training (OPT) who will require H-1B status, TNs, or current H-1B visa holders will not be considered. H1-B and green card sponsorship are not available for this position.

Salary Range
$20.00 - $35.00
The salary range reflected above is a good faith estimate of base pay for the primary location of the position. The salary for this position ultimately will be determined based on the education, experience, knowledge, and abilities of the successful candidate. In addition to salary, this role may also be eligible for annual, sales, or other incentive compensation.
