Your role and responsibilities
Our Global Affairs team tells this story and is responsible for positioning IBM in the market. We define and optimize IBM’s brand, capture the market’s attention, and articulate our point of view for clients, partners, the media, and even other IBMers. Required technical and professional expertise
Currently enrolled in an accredited University
Available for an internship in Summer 2027
Rising senior for the school year
Basic knowledge of one or more of the following areas: Sports Marketing, Sports Management, brand partnerships, or event marketing
Fluent in English; strong written and verbal communication skills
Preferred technical and professional experience
Basic knowledge of problem-solving and analytical skills
Basic marketing knowledge
Sports interest/degree/experience

OTHER RELEVANT JOB DETAILS
Supplemental 1 employees may be eligible for up to 8 paid holidays, minimum of 56 hours paid sick time and the IBM Employee Stock Purchase Plan. IBM offers paid family medical leave and disability benefits to eligible employees where required by applicable law.
This role is based in Austin. We work in a hybrid environment. This position will be required to come into the office at least three days per week.
This role is for an internship in Summer 2027. The Internship is expected to start on Monday, May 24th with an end date of Friday, August 13th. Candidates must be available to start and end on these days.
IBM will not be providing Visa sponsorship for these positions now or in the future. Therefore, to be considered for this position, you must have the ability to work without a need for current or future Visa sponsorship.
The compensation range and benefits for this position are based on a full-time schedule for a full calendar year. The salary will vary depending on your job-related skills, experience and location. Pay increment and frequency of pay will be in accordance with employment classification and applicable laws. For part time roles, your compensation and benefits will be adjusted to reflect your hours. Benefits may be pro-rated for those who start working during the calendar year.
