Nichols Companies is seeking motivated, ambitious, and driven students to join our 2027 Summer Internship Program. This hands-on opportunity provides exposure to the construction industry and allows interns to work alongside experienced professionals while contributing to real projects that impact our communities.
Whether your interests are in construction management, engineering, project management, estimating, field operations, business administration, accounting, human resources, or safety, our internship program is designed to provide meaningful experience and professional development.
What You'll Do
Assist project teams with daily operations and project coordination
Participate in site visits, project meetings, and team collaborations
Support project documentation, scheduling, and reporting efforts
Gain exposure to budgeting, procurement, and subcontractor coordination
Learn industry software and construction management tools
Partner with experienced mentors and department leaders
Complete a capstone project and present findings to company leadership
Develop professional skills through networking and career development opportunities
Qualifications
Currently pursuing a degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Business, Accounting, Human Resources, Safety Management, Architecture, or a related field
Rising sophomore, junior, senior, or graduate student graduating in 2027, 2028, or later
Strong organizational and communication skills
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
Eagerness to learn and contribute to a growing organization
Preferred Qualifications
Previous internship, work experience, or involvement in student organizations
Interest in the construction, real estate, or development industries
Experience with Procore, Bluebeam, AutoCAD, or similar software is a plus
