Job TitleA large building contractor in NW Portland is seeking candidates with 1-2 years of accounting support experience or a combination of 1-2 years of administrative support experience and relevant accounting coursework. Qualified candidates will have a high level of professionalism, be extremely detail-oriented, organized, and be self-starters.Qualified candidates will have:2+ years of experience in Accounts Receivable, Invoicing, Accounts Payable, and BillingAbility to perform combinations of calculating, posting, and verifying financial data to maintain accounting recordsExcellent computer skills, including Excel. Sage experience is a plus.Ability to examine, verify, and reconcile bank statements, expense reports, invoices, inventory, and company-specific reports to substantiate business transactionsAbility to compute and record charges, refunds, lost/damaged goods costs, freight charges, rentals, and similar itemsAbility to work well under pressure with frequent interruptionsExceptional mathematical skillsHighly motivated and able to work independentlyExcellent communication skills and be a team player with a strong work ethicCore duties include:Preparing customer invoicesWorking with salespersons to obtain accurate invoicing informationAssisting customers with A/R, A/P, inquiries, invoice requests, etc.Assisting with phones, data entry, filing, and general office tasksEducation: HS Diploma required.
