We are interested in you!$22.50 per hourFull-Time: Saturday-Wednesday 7AM-3PM (40 hours per week)Full-Time: Thursday-Sunday 7AM-3PM plus Mondays 11PM-7AMJob Summary: The Fire Panel Operator is responsible for continuously monitoring the fire alarm control systems and dispatching the Fire Protection Officer (FPO) in response to any alerts. This role ensures timely communication, accurate logging, and coordination with emergency response teams to maintain site safety and compliance.Key ResponsibilitiesFire Alarm MonitoringMonitor fire alarm control panels 24/7.Acknowledge and assess alarm types: fault, pre-alarm, and fire.Ensure seamless shift handovers and operational continuity.Alarm Dispatch & CommunicationImmediately dispatch the Fire Protection Officer upon alarm activation.Notify internal emergency contacts and site supervisors.Maintain communication with fire teams and security personnel.Log all communications and actions taken during incidents.System SupportReport faults or malfunctions in the fire panel system.Assist with system resets and support technicians during testing or repairs.RecordkeepingMaintain detailed logs of alarms, faults, and drills.Record response times and actions taken.Ensure logs are secure and audit-ready.ComplianceFollow fire codes and plant safety protocols.Complete required training and stay current on system updates.Maintain readiness for audits and inspections.Why Work For Us? - Competitive Compensation - Employee Referral Bonus Program - Great full-time and part-time shifts available! - Medical, dental, and vision coverage! - Life insurance - 401K - Free uniforms! - We put you through all of the necessary training!Qualifications:18 years of age or olderFamiliarity with security equipmentAbility to handle physical workloadStrong attention to detailMust possess the values important to Per Mar Security – Integrity, Communication, Excellent Service, and Accountability.Must be willing to participate in the Company's pre-employment screening process, including drug screen and background investigation.Per Mar is an Equal Opportunity Employer/Women/Minorities/Veterans/Disabilities #STBDNumber of Openings for this position: 1
