We welcome qualified applicants from all backgrounds, and veterans are encouraged to apply.Location: Fort Myer Commissary – Fort Myer, VA Starting Pay: $23.11/hour Pay After 4 Months: $26.39/hour Job Type: Part-Time | Night ShiftThe PositionWe are looking for an experienced Floor Technician/Custodian to join our night crew at the Fort Myer Commissary.This is a hands-on position focused on commercial floor care and general custodial duties. If you have professional experience stripping, waxing, buffing, and maintaining floors and take pride in doing quality work, we want to hear from you.Schedule & Pay$23.11/hour during the first 4 months$26.39/hour after 4 monthsApproximately 5 nights per weekShifts generally begin between 9:30 PM and 10:30 PMNight and weekend availability is requiredShift end times are based on workload and may varyThis is a part-time position and will not provide 40 hours per weekWhat You'll DoStrip, wax, buff, burnish, seal, and refinish floorsOperate commercial buffers, auto scrubbers, and other floor-care equipmentSweep, mop, vacuum, and maintain floor surfacesClean and sanitize restrooms, work areas, and other commissary spacesEmpty trash and replenish suppliesProperly use cleaning chemicals, equipment, and suppliesAssist with other custodial and commissary duties as neededWhat We're Looking ForPrevious professional Floor Technician experienceExperience stripping, waxing, buffing, and refinishing floorsExperience operating commercial floor-care equipmentReliable transportationAvailability to work nights and weekendsAbility to pass a Department of Defense (DoD) background check and obtain access to Fort MyerAbility to perform physically demanding work and regularly lift/move up to 60 poundsDependable, team-oriented, and willing to stay until the nightly work is completeUnion BenefitsCompetitive hourly payPaid vacationPaid holidaysPensionAll qualified applicants are encouraged to apply, including veterans and military-connected candidates.Equal Opportunity Employer M/F/Protected Veteran/Disability/Sexual Orientation and Gender Identity
