We're a passionate team using innovative approaches to help people lead fulfilling, independent lives in their communities.You'll be a:Champion of Change: Support individuals in achieving their goals of active citizenship, meaningful work, and personal growth.Community Connector: Assist participants in volunteer opportunities, fostering a sense of belonging.Skill-Building Coach: Help individuals learn job skills and develop coping strategies for daily challenges.We're looking for someone who:Has a heart for service: You're passionate about empowering others and creating a positive impact.Believes in individualized learning: You're patient, flexible, and tailor your approach to each person's needs.Thrives in collaboration: You enjoy working alongside a supportive team and asking questions.Brings creativity: You're excited to share your unique talents and interests (think music, art, crafts!)A good sense of humor: Laughter is the best medicine!Problem-solving skills: You can think outside the box to find creative solutions.To be eligible, you must also:Have some prior experience working with people with disabilities and providing behavioral support.Possess a reliable vehicle that seats up to 3 additional people and maintain a DMV record with no more than 3 points in the last 4 years.Hold a valid Driver's License with proof of car insurance and vehicle registration.Be CPR/AED/First Aid Certified.Pass a background check.We offer:Competitive salary ($24.77/hour) with a guarantee of 37 hours weekly and regular raisesComprehensive benefits package including health/dental insurance, paid time off, and more!Supportive work environment with opportunities for professional growthConsistent schedule (Monday-Thursday, 8:30 am - 4:00 pm, Fridays off at 3:30)
