nCall/Weekends:No Call. Weekends – averages to every 3rdweekend.
nPosition Overview:
nHenry Ford Healthis seeking acertified Neonatal Nurse Practitioner (NNP)to join our collaborative Neonatal team inDetroit. This24-hour positionprovides the opportunity to work alongside an experienced group of Neonatal Nurse Practitioners and Neonatologists in delivering high-quality, evidence-based care to critically ill and premature newborns. Candidatesmust be certified as an NNP.One year of NNP experience is preferred, but we are also excited to review applications fromnew graduateswho are passionate about neonatal care and eager to join a supportive, team-oriented environment.

nnnCertified as NNP
n
nnLicensed in State of Michigan as an RN and NP
n
nnCertified by NCC as a neonatal nurse practitioner

nnPrevious experience in Neonatal Care

nnDEA

n nEducation & Training
n· Nurse Practitioner (NP):Completion of a Nurse Practitioner program accredited by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE) or the National League for Nursing Accrediting Commission (NLNAC)
nLicensure
n· Current licensureas a Neonatal Nurse Practitioner, in the State of Michigan, or in the process of applying (proof of application required)
nCertification
n· NNP: Certification by theNational Certification Corporation (NCC)
nRequired Certifications
nnnBasic Life Support (BLS)– required
n
nnAdvanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)– required (may be obtained after hire)
n
n nDEA / Controlled Substance Licensure
nnnNP:DEA registration required through credentialing; NPs do not hold a Michigan CSL and will use their Michigan license number during the application process
