Shift Type: 24-hour (7:00 AM - 7:00 AM)
Estimated Shifts per Month: 10
Expected Patient Encounters per Day: 5-8
Average Deliveries per Hospitalist: 1-4
OB/GYNs Providing GYN Coverage: Yes, emergency cases only
First Assist Available to Hospitalists: Yes
Hospitalists Provide Backup to Midwives: Yes
Hospitalists Provide Backup to Family Practice: Yes
Backup Available to Hospitalists: OB/GYN ED Call
Average Monthly Hospital Deliveries: 63
Average Monthly Hospitalist Deliveries: 6
NICU: Level II Specialty
MFM Coverage: Available via tele-consult; Heartland manages MFM patients
Residency Program: Family Medicine
Neonatal Coverage: Pediatricians onsite 24/7; NICU consultations available via telehealth
EMR: Epic
