Job description
A Virginia facility is seeking an obstetrics hospitalist physician for locum tenens coverage. The role includes 24-hour call coverage with support from other obstetricians, general surgeons, and emergency medicine physicians.
Certification Requirements: Board Certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology; Electronic fetal monitoring certification required
License Requirements: Virginia license required
Patient Volume: 72 deliveries per month
Setting: Labor and delivery unit
Schedule: 24-hour call coverage
Support Staff: Backup from other obstetricians, general surgery, and emergency medicine
In-house anesthesia available 24/7
Clinical Responsibilities: Labor and delivery coverage
Emergent gynecology only
Assigned and unassigned patient deliveries
Call: 24-hour call
