School Crossing Guard W/ Traffic DutyPart-time (.125 FTE; ~1 hours/day), school year position (anticipated immediate start); salary commensurate with experience (current range $20.00-$30.00/hour)District, Hopkinton, MassachusettsAll qualified candidatesThis position is a split shift, approximately 8:30-9:00 AM and 3:15-3:45 PM daily.The School Crossing Guard w/Traffic Duty will provide for the safe movement of children to and from school when crossing public roadways and intersections by observing gaps in the traffic, and leading the children across the roadway or intersection. The Crossing Guard will be responsible for stopping the flow of traffic to allow the safe passage of students and school busses. Training for traffic duties will be provided by the Hopkinton Police Department. The incumbent will work one morning shift and one afternoon shift Monday through Friday, during the public school year. Hours will vary on early release and early dismissal days.
