Setup TechnicianPM Mold is seeking a 2nd and 3rd shift Setup Technician. This is a unique opportunity to directly impact our growing company. Be a part of the team where our culture combines ingenuity with precision and advanced capabilities to deliver unmatched results, helping our customers get their products to market quickly and efficiently.Duties & ResponsibilitiesSet and pull molds (knowledge of setting up hydraulic cores)Set up auxiliary equipmentHelp with starting machinesHelp supervisor in answering alarmsDebug auxiliary equipment problemsPerforms necessary preventative maintenance on moldsRequirementsMinimum 3 years of experience with setting up moldsMust be able to safely work around molding machinesMust be able to operate forklift and the overhead craneMust be able to work independentlyGood communication skills –written & oralBasic math skills and mechanical aptitudeMust be able to read, write & speak EnglishSome processing knowledge requiredPhysical RequirementsMust be able to hear machine alarmsGood mobility, energy level & ability to routinely lift 50 poundsRequires good visual acuity and the ability to detect visual changes in plasticAble to climb ladders up to 6 feetPhysical strength to perform ratcheting motion to torque settingsGood mobility for high physical activity including but not limited to reaching, standing, stooping, squatting, & crawling to access machine areasWe are an equal employment opportunity employer.
