As a 2nd Class Operating Engineer, and efficient operation of the hotel's equipment and machinery – you're spreading the light and warmth of hospitality by delivering memorable experiences that make the stay for every guest.Here's what you'll do during a typical day:Operate and maintain equipment: Ensure the efficient operation of boilers, chillers, pumps, electric motors, water softeners, electric generators, and hot water generators through regular monitoring and maintenancePerform troubleshooting and repairs: Diagnose and address issues with equipment to maintain optimal functionality and prevent system failuresConduct preventive maintenance: Carry out scheduled maintenance tasks to extend equipment lifespan and ensure reliable performanceDocument maintenance activities: Record completed repairs and flag any issues requiring further attentionWhat It Takes to Make the StayAt Hilton, our core values define what it takes to succeed here and guide the qualities we look for in every team member:A passion for spreading the light and warmth of Hospitality.
