We are committed to contributing positively to the communities where we live, work and play.Job DescriptionJob DetailsBase Pay: $17 per hour, plus $1.00 per hour shift differentialMorning shift: Monday to Friday, 6PM start time. Must be able to work up to 12 hours and Saturdays as needed.Benefits start day 1Duties and ResponsibilitiesProduction Associates help in the manufacturing and production process. This role varies based on the needs of the company and often includes operating machinery, assembling products, monitoring production lines, and conducting quality checks. This position requires strong attention to detail, physical stamina, problem-solving skills, and adherence to safety protocols.Assemble, fabricate, and inspect windows and doors to meet quality standards and specificationsReview work orders, prepare materials, and safely operate hand tools, power tools, saws, and automated equipmentAssemble components including frames, glass units, hardware, seals, and screensOperate production equipment such as saws, pneumatic tools, and welding machineryInspect finished products and report defects or quality concernsPrepare products for shipment, including labeling, packing, and loadingParticipate in 5S activities and continuous improvement initiativesContribute ideas to improve safety, quality, and efficiencySupport quality standards and help ensure products meet customer requirementsWork respectfully and collaboratively as part of a teamSupport the team in achieving production and performance targetsFollow direction of leadership and continuously verify quality through measurement.Adhere to safety protocols and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).Ability to work in a non-temperature-controlled manufacturing environmentSuccessful candidates enjoy working in a fast-paced, physically demanding, and repetitive work environment, which includes heavy lifting or working with your handsQualificationsThe work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an associate encounter while performing the essential functions of this job with or without reasonable accommodationsWhile performing the duties of the job, the associate is regularly required to standThe associate is required to walk: reach with hands and arms; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; turning or twisting; pushing; and talk or hearWhile performing the duties of this job, the average plant temperature conditions range from 60° in the cooler months and up to 110° during the warmer monthsAll workstations on the plant floor require the use of protective eyewear and hearing protection; some work stations require additional safety equipment to include but not limited to gloves, aprons and arm guardsAbility to lift up to 75 pounds on a continual basis above shoulder height and below the waistWill require standing, walking and working on concrete surfaces for duration of shiftAt least 18 years of ageMinimum of 12 months in a Manufacturing Environment
