Bindery Machine Operator - 2nd ShiftMonday - Friday 1:30pm - 10:00pm$17.50 per hour starting wage Long term/permanent opportunity with growth/wage increase potential!The Bindery Machine Operator is responsible for operating a variety of specialized bindery machines to transform the printed material coming from the Press Department into a finished product.Job Duties Include:Read work orders to determine instructions & specifications for machine set-upSet-up & operation of bindery machines: Maintain, adjust, & set up equipmentFold stock on any folderSet up & cut material according to specificationsPerforate or score materialsFollow safety precautionsMaintain awareness of machine's operation to avoid product waste and/or machine break downQualifications & Requirements:High school diploma or equivalent requiredKnowledge of production processes & quality controlsMechanical aptitudeAbility to stand, bend, reach, & twist in one place for extended periods of timeAbility to operate (or learn to operate) forklift, power dollies, hand dollies, & paper cuttersLifting up to 50lbs repeatedly throughout shift
