2nd Shift Maintenance/Custodial PositionWindom Area Schools is hiring a 2nd Shift Maintenance/Custodial position for the school district. This is a 12-month full-time position.KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:Knowledge of custodial cleaning practicesSpecial boiler license or ability to obtain within 6 months of hireMust be able to follow general cleaning & sanitizing proceduresAbility to work independently/take directionBe able to lift 50 lbs. occasionally and 15 lbs. frequentlyBe able to maintain a clean/pleasant environmentMust be familiar with electronic means of communication (emails, text messaging, radios, etc.)EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:High school diploma or GED requiredExperience in facility management preferredEquivalent combination of education, training, and experience in a job-related fieldSALARY RANGE:Union contract hourly range based on education, experience, and qualifications: $18.15 - $21.63 The following hourly range is based on the school year union contract; these amounts will be subject to change/increase once the new contract is settled.LICENSES, CERTIFICATES, AND REGISTRATIONS:1st Class C Boiler License or ability to obtain within 3 years of hireAPPLICATION PROCESS:Apply online under Employment.
