Job TitleGeneral CleanerJob DescriptionGeneral Cleaners are responsible for the cleanliness and maintenance of all assigned areas. General Cleaners perform any combination of cleaning duties to maintain the daily upkeep and cleanliness of the facility.Essential FunctionsSweeping, dusting, dust mopping, damp mopping, vacuumingExtracting carpetStripping and waxing floorsRemoving trash and recyclingCleaning and sanitizing restrooms and locker roomsPolishing outside area within 10 feet of entrywaysWashing windowsRemoval or snow and iceCleaning of desks/walls/furniture/doors/entry glass/interior glass/counter tops/chalkboards/whiteboards/blinds and light fixtures and any other duties as directed by the Custodial Supervisor or his/her designated representativeJob RequirementsExcellent work historyTeam focused approach requiring ability to work with others and take directionPhysically demanding, fast-paced environment requiring ability to work efficiently with attention to detailReliable transportationBackground check requiredMinimum QualificationsEducation: High school degree preferred, but not requiredExperience: Previous cleaning experience a plusAbility to reach, bend, stoop, wipe, push and pullThe ability to exert maximum muscle force to lift, push, pull, or carry objects up to 25 pound on a frequent basis, up to 50 pounds on an occasional basisExtensive walking and standing for the duration of the shiftMust have sufficient mobility to perform assigned tasks with production and service time frames as established by the companyAbility to work with various temperatures extreme from hot to coldAdditional Information / BenefitsOptional daily payBenefits: Medical Insurance, Life Insurance, Dental Insurance, Vision Insurance, Paid HolidaysThis is a Full-Time position 2nd Shift.
