Automotive Painter: Dixon, IllinoisOur customer in Dixon, Illinois, is seeking skilled individuals to join their team. We're recruiting Automotive Painters to work full-time on 2nd shift. As an Automotive Painter, you will be responsible for prepping, painting, and finishing manufactured products and truck equipment while maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work environment.Responsibilities of the Automotive Painter:Read and follow plans, material lists, and guidelines, applying necessary timelines.Paint truck equipment and manufactured parts using an air spray system.Prepare parts and equipment for painting using thinner, air blower, or sandblasting as needed.Set up painting equipment, mix paint, and adjust equipment to produce the desired finish.Manage the drying process and store painted equipment appropriately.Maintain work area, equipment, and supplies in a neat, organized manner.Conduct final inspection of finished work and complete associated paperwork.Provide assistance to co-workers as requested by department management.Automotive Painter Requirements and Qualifications:High School Diploma or G.E.D.Related experience or completed training in painting or finishing.Advanced computer skills, specifically Microsoft products.Preferred: Similar or related product knowledge and experience in a production environment.Pay for Automotive Painter: $24-$29.25/hour. Schedule: Monday – Thursday OR Tuesday – Friday with voluntary overtime. Hours 4:00 PM – 2:30 AM.
