URGENTLY HIRING: 2nd Shift Paint Team Lead / Industrial PainterLocation: Saginaw, MIShift: 2nd Shift | 3:30 PM – 12:00 AM (Flexible 4/10 and 4/12 schedules available)Compensation: Competitive Base Pay + 20% 2nd Shift Differential.Premium overtime earning potential available.The OpportunityAn immediate opening is available for a 2nd Shift Paint Team Lead on behalf of a premier, privately owned manufacturing company in Saginaw, Michigan. The company is experiencing massive, dynamic growth—projected to more than double orders in the next two years. To support this expansion, they need an experienced industrial painter who is ready to lead a small team and quickly transition into a long-term management career.Why This Role is a Career GamechangerDirect Path to Management: The hiring team is specifically looking for someone who can be fast-tracked and vertically promoted to the Overall Paint Department Manager.Uncapped Earning Potential: Between the generous 20% shift differential and ample overtime opportunities.Modern Work Environment: The chosen candidate will work with a brand-new, top-tier automated and manual paint shop.Flexible Shift Structures: The company accommodates multiple shift styles (all starting at 3:30 PM), including 4/10s (with weekend overtime options) and 4/12s (starting earlier in the day to finish up at 3:30 PM).What the Team Lead Will DoThis is a dual-focus role that balances high-level hands-on painting with shop-floor leadership:Lead & Mentor: Oversee, train, and guide a dedicated 2nd shift team of 4 industrial painters.Maintain Quality: Perform rigorous quality checks to ensure all military, aerospace, and commercial coatings meet strict customer specifications.Hands-On Painting: Apply specialized finishes and protective coatings using industrial spray equipment.Collaborate: Keep communication lines wide open with the 1st Shift Paint Supervisor to guarantee smooth, seamless shift handoffs.What Is RequiredIndustrial Paint Background: Solid experience in industrial spray painting. Backgrounds in automotive painting, defense contracting, or heavy equipment are ideal.
