2nd Shift Logistical Coordinator/Feed Mill TechnicianWe are looking for candidates with technical expertise to join our team as a 2nd Shift Logistical Coordinator/Feed Mill Technician at Athens, Alabama, Feed Mill. This Position will be responsible for ingredient requisition, operation of processing equipment, and coordination of feed dispatch.Responsibilities:Reviews feeds, orders, and inputs data into spreadsheetsSchedules, records, and files reclaim feed requestOperates scale house and receives BOL for all ingredientsCoordinates/pairs loads and dispatches drivers to farmsDelegates workload to drivers, while trying to evenly balance driving hoursReviews feed mill bins and farm bins to ensure a fluid unloading processInputs ingredients, vendors, and customers in the Control programOperates equipment, including receiving, batching, grinding, pelleting, and loadout.Completes FDA reportsMaintains Bio-Security Protocol at all times, along with routine sanitationObtains week-ending inventoriesEngages in weekly Plant fumigationOperates equipment such as forklifts, scissor lifts, sweepersMay perform other duties as deemed necessary by the supervisorQualifications:High School diploma or equivalentKnowledge of business English and ArithmeticComputer experience is necessary, fluid in Microsoft Excel.Must maintain a high degree of confidentialityAbility to establish and maintain effective working relationships with fellow employeesAbility to perform task with accuracy and efficiencyAbility to maintain records, and to generate reports which require extreme accuracyAbility to multi task in high stress environmentWe are an equal opportunity employer and all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, disability status, protected veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by law.
