We provide leading-edge conveyor and sortation systems, voice and light-directed order fulfillment equipment, controls and software, robotics, mezzanines, and structures.If you want to join a team of industry leading experts and who want to create an impact on the future of material handling solutions, we want to hear from you!ResponsibilitiesPosition Summary:The Machine Operator operates the CNC machine to cut and build rollers, sets up and operates a variety of machines.Responsibilities include but are not limited to:Measuring and setting up machines to manufacture a high volume of partsPerforming machine shop and mold press operations to support AssemblyDetecting defective materials and questionable conditions and reports to the managerMaintaining the work area and equipment in a clean, orderly conditionFollowing safety regulationsPerforming preventative maintenance on machinesEmployees are responsible for complying with all requirements of Daifuku's QMS policies and procedures.Employees are to ensure sustainable process outputs that drive continuous improvement to provide leading industry performance and exceptional customer satisfaction.QualificationsEducation and Experience Requirements:High School Diploma or equivalent preferredMinimum of 1 year of related experienceKnowledge, Skills, and Abilities Requirements:Ability to use a band saw, hand tools and calipers and perform milling, turning, drilling, taping, deburring, molding, and all bench operationsAbility to read blueprintsBasic math skillsKnowledge of standard and metric measurementsKnowledge of quality assurance and self-inspection techniquesSelf-motivated and detail-orientedTeam orientationAbility to read, write, speak, and understand the English languageADA Requirements:Medium work: Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 20 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects.Reaching: Extending hand(s) and arm(s) in any direction.Standing: Remaining upright on the feet, particularly for sustained periods of time.Walking: Moving about on foot to accomplish tasks, particularly for long distances or moving from one work site to another.Pushing: Using upper extremities to press against something with steady force in order to thrust forward, downward or outward.Pulling: Using upper extremities to exert force in order to draw, drag, haul or tug objects in a sustained motion.Lifting: Raising objects from a lower to a higher position or moving objects horizontally from position to-position. This factor is important if it occurs to a considerable degree and requires the substantial use of the upper extremities and back muscles.Grasping: Applying pressure to an object with the fingers and palm.Hearing: Perceiving the nature of sounds at normal speaking levels with or without correction, and having the ability to receive detailed information through oral communication, and making fine discriminations in sound.Repetitive motions: Making substantial movements (motions) of the wrists, hands, and/or fingers.Visual: The worker is required to have close visual acuity to perform an activity such as: preparing and analyzing data and figures; transcribing; viewing a computer terminal; extensive reading; visual inspection involving small defects, small parts, and/or operation of machines (including inspection); using measurement devices; and/or assembly or fabrication of parts at distances close to the eyes.Job Conditions:The worker is subject to: inside environmental conditions: Protection from weather conditions but not necessarily from temperature changes.The worker is subject to: hazards including a variety of physical conditions, such as proximity to moving mechanical parts, moving vehicles, electrical current, working on scaffolding and high places, exposure to high heat or exposure to chemicals.Job Posting Min SalaryUSD $16.00Job Posting Max SalaryUSD $20.00
