2nd Shift - MachinistOur client, an industry leader in manufacturing, is seeking a 2nd Shift - Machinist to join their team. As a Machinist, you will be part of the manufacturing department supporting production operations. The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety which will align successfully in the organization.Location: Ludington, MIPay Range: $22.25Shift: Monday - Thursday | 3:30 PM - 1:30 AMWhat's the Job?Set up and operate CNC and/or manual machining equipment according to specifications and production requirements.Read and interpret blueprints, work instructions, engineering drawings, and specifications.Monitor machine performance and make necessary adjustments to maintain product quality and efficiency.Inspect finished products using precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other quality tools.Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on machinery as needed.What's Needed?Previous machining experience preferred.Experience operating CNC machinery is highly desirable.Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.Proficient in the use of measuring and inspection tools.Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.What's in it for me?Four-day workweek with three-day weekends.Opportunity to work with advanced manufacturing equipment.Stable, long-term employment with opportunities for growth and development.Comprehensive benefits package available for eligible employees.Upon completion of waiting period associates are eligible for:Medical and Prescription Drug PlansDental PlanSupplemental Life InsuranceShort Term Disability Insurance401(k)If this is a role that interests you and you'd like to learn more, click apply now and a recruiter will be in touch with you to discuss this great opportunity.
