2nd Shift Maintenance Technician
Minimum 3 years of Maintenance experience
Venteon is currently seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician to fill an opening on 2nd Shift with a Tier 1 Manufacturing Company located in Metro Detroit. Must have experience with automotive maintenance, ideally in a machining environment
Requirements of the 2nd Shift Maintenance Technician
2-4 years of Manufacturing experience
2-4 years of Maintenance experience
Knowledge of hand and power tools, electric meters and material handling equipment in performing duties.
Strong Knowledge of the machines such as mills, lathes, etc.
Experience with mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic maintenance

Responsibilities of the 2nd Shift Maintenance Technician Perform highly diversified duties to install and maintain production machines and the plant facility's equipment.
Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment during production and perform scheduled maintenance repairs of production equipment during machine service.
Perform machinist duties and responsibilities.
Perform mechanical skills including, but not limited to, mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, troubleshooting and repair of production machines.
Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service.
Diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, test and make adjustments.
Perform regular preventive maintenance on machines, equipment and plant facilities.
Perform a variety of plumbing maintenance and carpentry functions.
